A Few of Our Favorite Things: Adjoin Dividers

Here we go with another installment of “A Few of Our Favorite Things!” This time we’re going to focus on a collection of product from our corporate signage partner, Takeform. However, before getting in to the product details, we want to discuss one interesting tidbit regarding the origin of our partnership with Takeform.

Defining the (IOS & Takeform) Relationship

The IOS team has accrued more than 75 years of combined experience working in the commercial interiors industry. We have partnered with a diverse range of customers—end users, furniture dealers, and corporate partners. General contractors, construction companies, A&D firms, and the list goes on. On interesting phenomenon that our team frequently encounters during a majority of our projects, especially ones involving the latter set of companies, is that no one asks the question, “Have you picked out/chosen/thought about your signage?” It’s an intriguing point due to the fact that in certain areas of these buildings where our product (furniture, architectural wall) is to be located, interior, directional signage is REQUIRED by the International Building Code (IBC). So, by not asking that question, construction delays are incurred, leading to more time on site, which ultimately equals more money out of our client’s pocket.

IOS saw this as an opportunity as it allowed for us to further provide our customers a comprehensive solution. We then found a strong partner in Takeform and the relationship was forged. Together, Takeform and IOS claim responsibility of making sure the question regarding signage is asked in the beginning stages of the project, alleviating construction delays and keeping money in our client’s pocket.

Well, we have more to add! Today we’re going to talk specifically about the Three-Sided Screens and Tabletop Dividers.

Adjoin Tabletop Dividers

Tabletop Dividers

Takeform Adjoin Tabletop Dividers are a great way to divide a tight space and still be safe. With a simple ordering process (all we need is the W x L of the table and the desired seating positions), a heavy-gauge panel thickness, protective feet and connectors providing reliable stability, and safe-touch edges, these are a great social-distancing solution.

Adjoin Three-Sided Screens

Three-Sided Screens

IOS and Takeform agree—keeping students safe is a full-time responsibility and the Adjoin Three-Sided Desktop Screen provides effective, durable protection. As is the case in the Tabletop Dividers, the Three-Sided Screens are composed of heavy-gauge materials and resilient connectors sure to stand up to the demands of today’s academic environment.
